Starting lights system

Pixelcom’s Starting Light System allows all starting procedures for FIA and FIM circuits. The system fully complies with FIA’s Appendix H, 2.4.6 for Starting Lights and the procedures for racing use.

RADAR BASED VEHICLE DETECTION SYSTEM

Pit in lights are composed by 1 column of Red+Green and 1 column Red+Green. They are used to inform drivers coming from the track the status of pit zone. (open or closed). Additionally, pit in lights may alert pit zone crew of an imminent entry of a vehicle by installing a detection system for activation of warning devices installed along the pit lane (for example horns around the boxes).

PIT LANE DETECTION SYSTEMS

Pit out lights (or Pit exit lights) are composed by 1 column of Red+Red+Green light and 1 column of Blue+Blue+Blue lights. They are used to inform drivers coming from the status of the track (closed, open or with traffic). Pit out lights may be controlled automatically or manually.

If lights are commended automatically the implementation of a detection system on the straight line is requested for displaying blue light. On the other hand, pit out light may be controlled manually from both Race Control Software and/or Remote Control Console.
